Raymarine DeviceNet (Female) to STNG Spur (Female) Adapter Cable is a short (400mm) adapter cable that allows you to connect NMEA2000 Male connector devices to the Raymarine STNG network. This adapter cable is suitable for connecting Axiom and Element series plotters to the STNG network and is suitable for converting any NMEA2000 male connector to an STNG Spur cable female connector. The STNG connector is connected to the white socket of the STNG connector. The Backbone cable, which runs from the beginning to the end of the STNG network on the boat, is connected to the blue sockets of the STNG connector. It is sensible to assemble the network from Backbone cables of different lengths in such a way that it is possible to make breaks and add T-connectors or 5-Way connectors in places where various STNG or NMEA2000 instruments need to be added. The Backbone is the main cable of the STNG network, and to start, continue, or end the network, STNG terminators, connectors, and a 12V power supply must be added. STNG blue and white cables cannot be connected incorrectly; in addition to the colour coding, STNG cables also have different pin layouts.
