When adding a Maretron T-connector to an existing NMEA 2000 network, it should be noted that <strong>The Maretron T-connector's wire points 180\u00ba in the other direction<\/strong> as with Ancor and many other manufacturers' connectors. In connection with this, the Drop cable exiting the T-connector also points in the opposite 180\u00ba direction. This can be either troublesome or very useful; you simply need to know this peculiarity in advance and take it into account during planning. Maretron Micro-C T-connectors are small in size and do not have screw mounting holes. There is no difference electrically; the pin-out of all Micro-C connectors is the same and the contacts are compatible.
