EV-1 Sensor Core and Evolution Autopilot Components<\/strong><\/p>\n

EV (Evolution) autopilots consist of an EV-1 sensor, an Autopilot Control Unit (ACU), and an Autopilot Drive Unit (Drive). The Autopilot Drive, (mechanical\/hydraulic or cockpit-mountable ram) and its corresponding ACU will depend on your vessel's steering system and vessel weight.<\/p>\n

The heart of the Iga Evolution system is the intelligent EV course computer, a 9-axis sensor that monitors the vessel's movement in three dimensions. The innovative EV course computer combines advanced hardware sensors and the Evolution autopilot software in a single, easy-to-install unit.<\/p>\n

The EV-1 sensors can be installed in both indoor and outdoor conditions, with a rugged housing that is fully sealed and meets IPX6 and IPX7 waterproof standards.<\/p>\n

After general and initial settings, the Dockside Wizard and one deviation manoeuvre have been completed, users will have quick access to three different autopilot modes going forward.<\/p>\n
