The Raymarine STNG Auxiliary Alarm does not duplicate silent signals from button presses on plotters and instruments; it is an amplifier for real hazard alarms. You can connect this external alarm directly to the STNG network. NB! This alarm produces a truly loud sound and is suitable for placement on a boat in a location where all crew members must hear the alarm or be woken by it. It is a good solution for sailing yachts where the chartplotter is installed inside the steering console and the plotter's own audible alarms are not easily heard in the cockpit due to the wind. The alarm comes with a 1-metre long angled STNG SPUR cable.
