The Axiom Front Mounting Kit is suitable for installing Axiom, Axiom+, and Axiom2 series chartplotters into a wall or console from the front. This is a good solution if the plotter itself fits, but there is no access from behind the location. The kit includes its own bracket with edges for fixing to a flat surface from the front with four screws at the corners, plotter mounting brackets for securing the plotter within the bracket, a gasket, and a new, wider screen bezel. The new bezel is necessary because the Front Mounting Kit makes the plotter approximately 2 cm wider on both sides, and the dimensions change by 4-8 mm at the top and bottom. The kit includes its own frame with edges for securing to a flat surface with four screws from the front at the corners, mounting brackets for securing the plotter within the frame, a gasket, and a new wider screen cover. The new screen cover is necessary because the Front Mounting Kit makes the plotter approximately 2 cm wider on both sides, and the overall dimensions change by 4-8 mm at the top and bottom.
NB! For Axiom 7, you must first remove the frame intended for the mounting foot. Unscrew the 4 hex head bolts on the rear of the Axiom 7 and remove the frame.
