NMEA 2000® Micro-C Multiport Box

The Maretron Multiport Box is like a 4-way T-connector or a 4-way drop. A Drop Cable comes from the BackBone into the Multiport Box, and this can then be split to 4 devices or sensors. It is essential to use only dedicated NMEA 2000® approved cables and connectors in NMEA 2000® networks to ensure correct data transmission and network reliability. The Multiport Box has 1x Male connector for connecting to a T-connector on the BackBone line, and 4x Female connectors for connecting Drop Cables leading to devices. To integrate an NMEA2000 network with a Raymarine STNG network, use original adapter cables. Do not duplicate the power circuits or grounding of different integrated networks.

The 4T-splitter is a good solution when more than one instrument or sensor needs to be added to the NMEA 2000® network!
