When installing Raymarine RV transducers, you must be sure to observe the following:

Correct installation of Raymarine RealVision 3D™ sonar is essential for achieving maximum image quality and reliability. In addition to the manufacturer's installation instructions, be sure to follow these recommendations:

1. Avoid connecting to the starter battery

Do not connect Axiom RV, Axiom Pro RVX or RVX1000 sonar units attached to a star. The sound generated when the engine starts A power surge can cause the sonar image to disappear, which hinders navigation.

2. Avoiding turbulence and disturbances

Anduril Do not position near water intakes or protruding body elements, there they create Turbulence and air bubbles, which degrade the sonar image.

3. Parallel and symmetrical installation

• Anduril must be exactly the same distance from the stern of the boat – not in front or behind each other.

• The lateral distance between the two sensors should not exceed 2 metres (i.e. a maximum of 1 metre clearance on either side).

• Andurite The installation depth must be at least 300 mm below the water line, when on the move.

4. AHRS stabiliser and electromagnetic interference

• The RV has built-in Attitude and Heading Reference System, which compensates for the ship's movement.

• Do not install sensors strong magnetic sources (motor controllers, inverters, chargers, heavy-duty cables) nearby.

• When necessary Disable AHRS function from the menu, if it is not working correctly due to interference.
