Pinnacle tiller extension link 25mm (ST1000+, ST2000+, ST4000 tiller)

The tiller extension link is needed to extend the piston of the tiller pilot drive when it does not reach the desired location. Extension links are available in 25mm increments, starting from a 25mm link up to a 153mm link. During installation, it is not always possible to precisely control where the rear end of the ST1000+, ST2000+, or ST4000 tiller pilot drive is attached. You must always choose the most sensible, convenient, and strong location. At the same time, it is important to adhere to key installation dimensions, which are 460mm from the tiller head towards the tiller pin, and as parallel as possible to the boat and the tiller. Another important dimension is the so-called “midstroke”, i.e. the centre position. For the ST1000+ and ST2000+, this is 589mm, and for the ST4000, it is 620mm. These are the distances between the centres of the tiller head and hull mounts. To the question, “but I need a 300mm link and you don't have one,” the answer is to screw two 153mm links together. At the same time, do not extend the part unnecessarily long; this should only be done if there is truly no other option.
