Pinnipiloodi Cantilever Socket Assembly 230mm (ST1000+, ST2000+, ST4000 tiller)

The Autopilot Cantilever Socket Assembly is a bracket designed to attach the hull-side end of the autopilot drive unit to a vertical surface, i.e. a wall. The bracket is attached to the hull's vertical surface and the bracket's length is 230mm. During installation, it is not always possible to precisely control where the stern of the ST1000+, ST2000+, ST4000 autopilot drive is attached. The most sensible, convenient and strongest location must be chosen. At the same time, important installation dimensions must be adhered to, which are 460mm from the rudder stock to the tiller handle and as parallel as possible relative to the boat and the rudder stock. Another important dimension is the so-called “Midstroke”, i.e. the centre position, which is 589mm for the ST1000+ and ST2000+, and 620mm for the ST4000. These are the distances between the centres of the rudder stock and hull-side fittings. To achieve an ideal result, different extension links, brackets for raising or lowering the tiller plane, and extension brackets that can be attached to a horizontal or vertical wall may sometimes be necessary.
