Raymarine Quantum – Wireless CHIRP radar. FLIR's Raymarine Quantum Radar is the next generation marine radar that uses CHIRP pulse compression technology.
Quantum, which sets a new standard for compact solid-state radars, offers excellent radar imagery at both long and extremely short ranges. Integrated WiFi and thin cabling allow for simple installation. Quantum's energy-efficient and lightweight design also ensures safe radiation and significantly reduced power consumption. FLIR's exclusive ATX™ advanced target separation technology displays targets such as boats, buoys, rocks, and weather elements with unparalleled resolution and separation quality.
CHIRP pulse compression. Excellent short-range detection and enhanced target detail with a minimum range of 18′ (6 m). CHIRP pulse compression ensures that more energy reaches each target, resulting in improved picture quality at long ranges.
Detection of small targets. Quantum CHIRP pulse compression technology detects small and weak targets even when they are located near strong reflections.
Immediate awareness. Quantum dot technology is ready for use in seconds, without a long warm-up period.
Simple installation. Simple WiFi connection between Quantum and any Raymarine LightHouse II powered multifunction display. Quantum’s small diameter power cable is easy to route through tight spaces. Simple upgrade – Quantum uses the same bolt pattern as previous generation radars. An optional Quantum adapter cable eliminates the need to run new radar cables.
Energy-efficient and lightweight design. The 50% weighs less than traditional magnetron radars. Safe radiation thanks to Quantum’s low-power solid-state radar transmitter. Very low power consumption (17 watts in transmission mode and 7 watts in standby mode). Longer battery life under sail.
