Raymarine P79 Sonar Transducer – Fish Finder Image to Chartplotter Without Hull Drilling!
The installation angle for the Keresisese P79 transducer can be easily set according to the hull angle from 0° to 22°. The transducer comes with a housing that is glued to the inside of the boat's hull and filled to 5cm with antifreeze liquid. The transducer is then attached to this housing with a twist-lock, so that the transducer points directly downwards. Sound waves travel effectively through the plastic hull in the liquid, offering the best possible in-hull transducer performance. The P79 fishfinder transducer is dual-frequency, operating at 50 kHz and 200 kHz to provide high target detail in shallow water and excellent bottom tracking in deep water. The transducer has an 8-Pin / CP370 connector and an adapter cable is required to connect it to an Axiom2 RV or Axiom2 Pro series plotter. A80494. There is no need to drill a hole in the hull to install the transducer, the P79 transducer is suitable for fibreglass hulls. NB! The P79 in-hull transducer does not show water temperature.
