The Raymarine Rotary Drive is designed for sailing yachts with a cable steering system. A second sprocket and chain are fitted to the shaft in addition to the existing ones. It allows for very powerful and quiet steering. Check your boat's specifications or consult with our specialist to see if the drive is suitable for your boat. If you are replacing an existing drive with a new one, it is simpler; check the type, operating voltage, or serial number of the old drive. Sprockets and chain are not included. The Raymarine Rotary Drive is designed for steering systems that can be driven from the helm position via a chain and sprocket (e.g. cable and rod type steering systems). The Rotary Drive unit's outstanding design ensures smooth, powerful and quiet autopilot-driven steering.
