STNG Backbone adapter - NMEA2000 Male

Original price was: 48,80 €.Current price is: 45,00 €.

The STNG BackBone 400 mm adapter cable is a good option for connecting an STNG network to an existing NMEA2000 network, or vice versa. If connecting to the end of an existing network, one adapter cable will be needed, and if connecting in the middle, two adapter cables will be required. Choose your preferred NMEA2000 connector, with options for Male or Female. The Raymarine STNG BackBone (blue/black) cable, as its name suggests, is a “backbone” cable. The backbone cable runs from the beginning to the end of the STNG network on the boat, and it is sensible to construct the network using cables of various lengths so that it is possible to make breaks and add T-connectors or 5-way connectors where different STNG instruments need to be added. The backbone is the main cable of the STNG network, and to start, extend, or terminate the network, STNG terminators, connectors, and a 12V power supply must be added. STNG blue and white cables cannot be connected incorrectly; in addition to colour coding, STNG cables also have different pin arrangements. Before using the product, familiarise yourself with the operating principle of the STNG (NMEA2000) network. NB! The blue and white nuts of the STNG connector sockets should only be turned a quarter of a turn. Corresponding markings are indicated on the product. Be sure to also familiarise yourself with this product and the general STNG network and its operating principles. with instructions, for questions, consult our specialist.
