STNG Backbone adapter - NMEA2000 Male

The STNG Backbone adapter cable is a good option to connect an STNG network to an existing NMEA2000 network or vice versa. If you connect at the end of an existing network, one adapter cable will be needed, and if you connect in the middle, two adapter cables will be needed. Choose a suitable NMEA2000 connector, there are 2 options: Male or Female. The Raymarine STNG Backbone (blue/black) cable, as the name suggests, is the “backbone” cable. The Backbone cable runs throughout the boat from the start to the end of the STNG network, and it is sensible to assemble the network using cables of different lengths so that breaks can be made and T-connectors or 5-Way connectors can be added at locations where different STNG instruments need to be connected. The Backbone is the main cable of the STNG network, and to start, continue or terminate the network, STNG terminators, connectors and a 12V power supply must be added. STNG blue and white cables cannot be connected incorrectly; in addition to colour coding, STNG cables also have different pin configurations.
