STNG to SPX Moulded Cable with special connector for ACU200, ACU300 and ACU400 SPUR cable which can be used to power the STNG network. This cable is not suitable for ACU100 and ACU150, and these two models do not allow power to be sent to the STNG network. The same cable is also suitable for older generation SPX autopilots. The Raymarine STNG SPUR cable is a spur cable, through which devices (blue/black) are connected to the BackBone cable, which, as the name suggests, is the “spine” cable. The BackBone cable runs from the beginning to the end of the STNG network on the boat, and it is advisable to construct the network using cables of different lengths so that it is possible to make connections and add T-connectors or 5-Way connectors where different STNG instruments need to be added. BackBone is the main cable of the STNG network, and STNG terminators, connectors, and a 12V power supply must be added to start, extend, or terminate the network. STNG blue and white cables cannot be connected incorrectly; in addition to colour coding, STNG cables also have different pin configurations. Before using the product, familiarise yourself with the working principle of the STNG (NMEA2000) network. NB! The blue and white nuts of the STNG connector sockets should only be turned a quarter turn. Corresponding markings are indicated on the product.
