A STNG backbone cable with two 90° angle ends is a good option for connecting a STNG cable to a STNG connector when there is limited space behind the device. The 90° angled STNG F end has the conductor (key) facing outwards, meaning the cable will point downwards behind the i70s, p70s, and also the i50, i60 instruments. This cable allows STNG interface devices to be installed in tight spaces and was originally designed for the daisy-chain connection of i50 and i60 instruments in narrow mounting consoles. STNG blue (Backbone) and white (Spur) cables cannot be interchanged; the pin layout is different. Before using the product, familiarise yourself with the operating principle of the STNG (NMEA2000) network. NB! The blue and white nuts on STNG connectors should only be turned a quarter of a turn. Corresponding markings are indicated on the product.
