Raymarine CPT-S CHIRP transducer – accurate depth reading without drilling a hole in the hull!

The Raymarine CPT-S CHIRP transom-mount transducer offers exceptionally accurate depth readings without the need to drill a hole in the hull. It's an ideal solution for boats with GRP (glass-reinforced plastic) hulls.

The set includes a housing (well) which is glued to the inside of the hull and filled with frost-resistant liquid. The liquid improves the propagation of sound waves through the hull and ensures accurate measurement results. The smart design of the transducer allows it to be installed at various angles (0–25°) on the boat's hull, making the transducer universally suitable for many boats. The transducer must be installed on a solid laminate part of the boat's hull, as a honeycomb structure will excessively dampen the signal, leading to poor results.
