Maretron Micro Power Tap T connector

Original price was: 55,80 €.Current price is: 53,57 €.

The Maretron Micro Powertap T-Connector CF-SPWR05-CF provides a highly specialized and reliable way to power your NMEA 2000® network backbone. Unlike a standard T-connector used to connect NMEA 2000® devices, this Powertap T-Connector offers “homerun” power with two separate inputs to augment the power capacity and functionality of your NMEA 2000® network. Both branches can handle loads up to 4A and this allows these branches to be independently switched on and off. Strict adherence must be maintained that power for both branches are sourced from the same power supply (battery bank). The yellow colour easily distinguishes the power cable and prevents it from being confused with a standard NMEA2000® drop cable, making installation simple, understandable, and reliable. It is important in NMEA 2000® systems to only use specially NMEA2000 approved cables and connectors to ensure correct data transmission and network reliability. To integrate an NMEA2000 network with a Raymarine STNG network, use original adapter cables. Do not duplicate power or ground circuits between dissimilar integrated networks. Be sure to consult this product's instructions and in case of questions, consult our specialist.

The Maretroni Micro Powertap T fitting allows power to be supplied from two separate inputs.

The Maretron Micro Powertap T-Connector CF-SPWR05-CF provides a dedicated and reliable way to power your NMEA 2000® network backbone. Unlike standard T-connectors that join NMEA 2000® devices, this Powertap T-connector offers “bus” power with two separate inputs to enhance the power and functionality of your NMEA 2000® network. Both branches can handle a load of up to 4 A, and this also allows these branches to be switched on and off independently. It is crucial to ensure that both branches are powered from the same power source (battery bank). The yellow colour helps to easily distinguish the power cable and avoid confusion with a standard NMEA 2000 drop cable, making installation simple, understandable and reliable. In NMEA 2000 systems, it is important to use only dedicated NMEA 2000 approved cables and connectors to ensure correct data transmission and network reliability. Use original adapter cables to integrate the NMEA 2000 network with a Raymarine STNG network. Do not duplicate the power or ground circuits of different integrated networks.

Note:

NMEA 2000 cables are available in two sizes, Micro and Mini

  • NMEA 2000® Micro cables are most common for boats up to 40 feet. Raymarine, Lowrance, and Simrad typically use this size of cable.
  • NMEA 2000® Mini cables can withstand higher loads and are used on larger boats to ensure stable power supply even over longer distances.
