Integrated AIS receiver
Thanks to the integrated AIS receiver, the Ray91 can receive navigation and safety transmissions from nearby AIS-equipped vessels. NMEA2000 and NMEA0183 interfaces allow the received information (vessel name, course, speed, CPA, and other voyage information) to be easily transmitted to compatible multifunction displays.
Uncompromising communication
The Ray91 is equipped with a powerful 25W transmitter and commercial-grade electronics, ensuring a long life and high performance. Channel scanning, dual watch, triple watch, and weather alerts are standard. A Class D Digital Selective Calling radio and integrated GPS make setting up advanced safety and calling features easy. Simply enter your vessel's MMSI number during setup and you're ready to go. An optional GA150 passive GPS antenna is required to use the GPS.
Position tracking
The Ray91's AIS receiver allows you to track up to five DSC-equipped vessels in your vicinity. Their locations will be automatically shared with your Raymarine MFD. The radio supports the ATIS system on European navigable inland waterways.
Loudspeaker
Thanks to the integrated megaphone, you can be heard both on deck and across the harbour. Connect the optional foghorn and signal your presence with 30-watt audio output and two-way communication. In fog, the loudspeaker can be set to automatically emit the necessary fog signals for both motor and sailing vessels at sea and at anchor.
Water-resistant and durable
The Ray91 transmitter-receiver is constructed from robust aluminium for impact and vibration resistance, and maximum heat dissipation. For easy viewing in any situation, the RayMic handset features good illumination. Large keys ensure easy access to frequently used functions.
