The Ray63 is an affordable, fully featured DSC marine radio with a highly readable LCD screen, a Class D DSC unit. The Ray63 VHF radio has a built-in GPS receiver and can also be connected to external GPS antenna. The DISTRESS button on the control panel can be used to send a distress call to shore stations and other vessels. It features multi-channel monitoring, a 25W/5W transmitter, and a sensitive receiver. The microphone has buttons for channel selection. It is waterproof to IPX7 standard. The Ray63's design complements Raymarine chartplotters. The Ray63 marine radio has STNG (NMEA2000) and NMEA0183 interfaces for easy integration of the device into new or existing networks. A second Ray63 VHF radio can be added. Telephone loudhailer loudspeaker that offers a second fully functional speaking position and also an onboard intercom function. loudspeaker cannot be added to the model and the option of automatic foghorns and voice commands is missing.
