The RS150 GPS antenna is designed for direct connection to the STNG (NMEA2000) network and does not have Seatalk1 or NMEA0183 interfaces. SeaTalk NG > SeaTalk1 It is possible to use the RS150 GPS antenna with older devices that only have a Seatalk1 interface, using a converter. Always install the GPS antenna so that its field of view is not obstructed by other equipment or the vessel's structure. Do not install the GPS antenna in the active zone of the radar. Do you need an external RS150 GPS or not?

The RS150 is not a GPS antenna, but rather a device in the shape of an antenna that *is* a GPS, which already sends ready-made coordinates to the STNG network. The RS150 has a very short start-up time and excellent accuracy. Most Raymarine chartplotters with internal GPS do not have a direct need for an external GPS. In the current situation where GPS signals are being jammed, it is still very important that the GPS receiver is in the best possible location on your vessel. The external RS150 has very good signal reception and you can install it in the most suitable place, including a 6 m STNG spur cable. In summary, the location accuracy will significantly improve, being approximately 0.2 – 0.5 m. The difference is most noticeable when a chartplotter with an internal GPS is installed into the terrace corpus or about where The GPS signal is weak or missing Completely.

Older Classic C and E Series (C80, C120, E80, E120) Requires connection SeaTalk1 to STNG converters.

Axiom, Axiom+ and Axiom2 The serial port has an internal GPS and the RS150 GPS can be added.

Axiom Pro, Axiom2 Pro, Axiom XL and Axiom2 XL The serial port has an internal GPS, the TNC connector is external. GA200 GPS for adding an antenna and it is also possible to add an RS150 GPS.

Raymarine RS150 GPS a reliable choice for all For Raymarine chartplotters. The RS150 is actually a total system GPS that does not depend on any chartplotter; data is transmitted directly to the STNG (NMEA2000) network. NB! There may be multiple GPS sources in one navigation system, but only one of them can be active, the others are kept as a backup and are not used daily!
