					<description><![CDATA[<p>The EV-150 Hydraulic pilot can be used on motorboats with a hydraulic steering system. The EV-150 Hydraulic pilot is designed for recreational boats with a working cylinder volume between 80cc-230cc and a supply voltage of 12V. The pilot consists of a Type 1 hydraulic pump, a P70Rs control unit, a new EV-1 nonuated sensor and an ACU-150 pump control unit. Evolution series autopilots feature a nonuated sensor with AST function. Evolution autopilots work even without a rudder feedback sensor, but we recommend adding one if possible. For Volvo-Penta drives, a special mounting kit must also be added for connecting the rudder feedback sensor. Be prepared that the steering hydraulic hoses on your boat may need some modification. Usually, tees need to be added for the pump, and a third hose should be routed from the pump back to the steering actuator. 					<description><![CDATA[<p>The nine-sensor EV1 is the brain of the Evolution autopilot. The EV1 sensor and heading computer measures and senses the vessel's movement in three dimensions. The EV1 sensor has an STNG (NMEA2000) interface for easy integration with the Raymarine STNG network. Its flat, weather-resistant housing allows the sensor to be installed in both indoor and outdoor conditions and it meets IPX6 and IPX7 standards. When installing, ensure that the arrow on top of the sensor points in the direction of travel and is parallel to the keel. Under normal operating conditions, the arrow's illumination is green. When choosing a location for the EV-1, the principle is the same as for a fluxgate compass; you must ensure the sensor is kept away from cables and metal objects. <p data-start="114" data-end="367">EV (Evolution) autopilots consist of an EV-1 sensor, an Autopilot Control Unit (ACU), and an Autopilot Drive Unit (Drive). The Autopilot Drive, (mechanical/hydraulic or cockpit-mountable ram) and its corresponding ACU will depend on your vessel's steering system and vessel weight.</p>
<p data-start="369" data-end="654">The heart of the Iga Evolution system is the intelligent EV course computer, a 9-axis sensor that monitors the vessel's movement in three dimensions. The innovative EV course computer combines advanced hardware sensors and the Evolution autopilot software in a single, easy-to-install unit.</p>
<p data-start="369" data-end="654">The EV-1 sensors can be installed in both indoor and outdoor conditions, with a rugged housing that is fully sealed and meets IPX6 and IPX7 waterproof standards.</p>
<p data-start="824" data-end="848">After general and initial settings, the Dockside Wizard and one deviation manoeuvre have been completed, users will have quick access to three different autopilot modes going forward.</p>

The EV-1 and EV-2 autopilot computers in the Evolution series have a nine-axis sensor with AST function. Evolution autopilots can also operate without a rudder feedback sensor, but we recommend adding one if possible.
