NMEA 2000® Micro-C T-connector
The T-connector is a good solution if you need to add an instrument or sensor to the NMEA 2000® network! When adding a Maretron T-connector to an existing NMEA 2000 network, it should be noted that The Maretron T-connector's wire points 180º in the other direction as with Ancor and many other manufacturers' connectors. In connection with this, the Drop cable exiting the T-connector also points in the opposite 180º direction. This can be either troublesome or very useful; you simply need to know this peculiarity in advance and take it into account during planning. Maretron Micro-C T-connectors are small in size and do not have screw mounting holes. There is no difference electrically; the pin-out of all Micro-C connectors is the same and the contacts are compatible. An illustrative image is in the gallery and it gives a good overview of the direction of the Maretron T-connector branch cable connector and the dimensions of the T-connector compared to most other manufacturers' connectors.
