Raymarine rudder angle sensor

Original price was: 409,20 €.Current price is: 396,92 €.

The Raymarine Rotary Rudder Reference Transducer is compatible with S1/S2/S3, SPX, EV autopilots, ST60+ series instruments and the iTC-5 converter. Although new EV and older SPX series autopilots will work without a rudder reference transducer, adding one will further enhance the already smooth operation of the unit. For best results, install the transducer parallel to the rudder stock, so that the transducer rotates to the same extent as the rudder stock for the most accurate reading. When installing, ensure that the physical zero position of the rudder and the physical zero position of the transducer coincide. NB! The rudder's zero position is not always the ideal zero position for the vessel's course and minor deviations can be corrected later via software. After the autopilot is first switched on, check that the transducer reading on the autopilot's screen is moving in the correct direction. If it is moving in the wrong direction, swap the green and red wires on the transducer cable at the ACU (S1/S2/S3, SPX) Rudder port. The Raymarine Rotary Rudder Reference Transducer is compatible with S1/S2/S3, SPX, EV autopilots, ST60+ series instruments, and the iTC-5 converter. Although new EV and older SPX series autopilots can also operate without a rudder angle sensor, the rudder angle sensor further improves the unit's already smooth operation. For the best results, install the sensor parallel to the rudder stock, so the sensor turns exactly as much as the rudder stock and the sensor's reading is at its most accurate. The rudder's zero position may not always be the ideal zero position for the vessel's course, and small deviations can be corrected later via software. If it moves in the wrong direction, swap the green and red wires of the sensor cable in the ACU (S1/S2/S3, SPX) Rudder port.
