Raymarine Tiller Pilot – the most popular autopilot for tiller-steered yachts
Originally produced by the English company Nautech in 1973 and known under the name Autohelm. Later, the Autohelm brand was acquired by Raytheon and it became Raymarine, which to this day produces more modern descendants of this original 1973 device. The Tiller Pilot has been one of the world's most popular autopilots, offering unprecedented reliability, performance, and ease of use. The ST2000 Plus tiller pilots are designed for sailboats weighing up to 4,500 kg.
Thanks to smart features such as AutoTack Yes AutoState Sailing becomes even easier – the pilot steers the boat and holds the course, saving energy at the same time. The LCD display with a 6-button control panel makes the device intuitive and easy to use both independently and together with SeaTalk/NMEA GPS systems.
