The EV-100 tiller pilot can be used on sailboats steered by a tiller. The tiller pilot is designed for recreational boats with a total weight of up to 6000 kg. It is recommended to leave at least 20% of reserve. The pilot consists of a linear drive unit, specifically designed for a sailboat's tiller, a new single-axis EV-1 sensor and an ACU-100 Actuator Control Unit. This pilot steers precisely like larger autopilots, using the nine-sensor EV-1 as its computer. This product has one difference from larger autopilots that cannot be seen or heard. The drive unit must be attached to the tiller before starting your journey and removed again if manual steering is required. NB! The p70s controller is missing from the set. When an Axiom series and older a, c, e, eS, gS chartplotter are present, the pilot can be controlled directly from the chartplotter, and the p70 controller is not essential.
