EV1 Autopilot brain
The EV1 drive unit has been designed for Evolution autopilot systems (mechanical and hydraulic). It uses a 9-axis motion sensor and a course computer, accurately detecting course changes and optimising the autopilot's response.

ACU-100 (Actuator Control Unit)
The ACU-100 is at the heart of Evolution autopilots on smaller vessels. It is fully sealed and can be mounted on deck where space is limited. It connects to the EV1 sensor core and drive unit, providing a powerful and reliable steering signal.

Role-playing
The rotary encoder is fully enclosed and fits most steering wheels. A simple clutch mechanism allows for quick manual connection and disconnection, ensuring smooth operation.
